Fan-coil unit kit
Fan-Coil Unit Kit is a pre-assembled multifunction bypass unit designed for plant situations that require a constant flow of heat transfer fluid, such as fan-coils, cold beams, radiant strip heaters and other ceiling conditioning systems.
The flow control is entrusted to a PICV (Pressure Independent Control Valve) dynamic balancing valve.
Fan-Coil Unit Kit connects the delivery and return pipes to the terminal units and integrates the following accessories, necessary for correct operation and maintenance of the system:
- three-way valves
- two loading/unloading taps
- mesh filter
- PICV
- piezometric connections
- Venturi orifice for flow measurement.
The position of the ball valves allows up to five operating modes and allows isolating the primary circuit (system side) from the secondary circuit (serving the individual terminal units). In this way it is easy to clean the mesh strainer, replace a terminal unit or perform the flushing, washing and cleaning of the primary circuit (without these operations affecting the terminal unit).
