DIRTSTOP® XL - Magnetic dirt separator with triple filtering action
DirtSTOP® XL is the new high-performance magnetic dirt separator from IVAR, with triple filtering action.
1. Swirling motion to facilitate debris separation and settling
2. Double powerful magnet (2 x 12000 gauss)
3. Mechanical filtration with 800 μm mesh.
The new DirtSTOP® XL version has a 450 ml collection chamber which allows the purging frequency to be reduced and ensures high flow rates. The filter effect is based on a sequence of three different actions. Initial centrifugal separation of debris, provided by a vortex created by a special, patented insert. Subsequently, two powerful 12,000-gauss neodymium magnets retain any magnetic particles in the water. Finally, the filter action of an 800 µm stainless-steel mesh, “S”-shaped to maximise the available surface area and make the filtration as effective as possible.
The device is equipped with manual air bleed valve and drain valve for cleaning. The connections can be horizontal, vertical, or at 45° and can be used indifferently for entry or exit from the device. The shapes and materials have been carefully designed to ensure high levels of performance, strength and durability.
DirtSTOP® XL is available in various versions which differ by size and the material of the connections.
