IVAR main sponsor of Team LCR at electric motorcycle racing championship

A grand presentation for the highly anticipated unveiling of Team LCR’s bike at the press conference in Brescia on Wednesday 27th February.

The IVAR logo is due to feature on the fairings and race suits of Lucio Cecchinello’s well-known motorcycling racing team LCR in the coming world championships season. The 2019 competition is already upon us and will officially accept electric motorbikes.

This marks a new era for two-wheeled racing, in which 100% electric motorcycles will be able to compete. And IVAR, with the green spirit that sets us apart, did not hesitate to become a part of that new age, enthusiastically offering sponsorship in support of sustainability, respect for the environment and innovation.

“This sponsorship is a bit of a gamble,” explained IVAR MD, Stefano Bertolotti, during the press conference. “But that’s what we do at IVAR. We like challenges, different things, and we like new things. MotoE aligns perfectly with our innovative spirit.”

With regard to the coherence between MotoE and values around environmental sustainability, MD Paolo Bertolotti added: “We are continuously seeking new ways of implementing solutions that carry us in that direction. From huge investments, such as the solar energy system installed on the roofs of our facilities or our geothermal system, to the attention we devote to the little things: it is my firm opinion that they make a difference.”

The event of course included appearances from riders Randy De Puniet and Niccolò Canepa, as well as from team manager Lucio Cecchinello.
