Accessories for gas systems
IVAR solutions for domestic gas installations also include two devices relating to safety. RST 00 is a curved connection with an integrated thermal safety device, usually coupled with an end fitting (RT 00) inserted in a chased box accessible for inspection. The device prevents gas leakage from the mains in the event of fire and limits the possible development of a fire, activating thermally between 95°C and 100°C (with operating resistance up to 925°C for one hour). RG 00 is the methane gas leak detector, which promptly triggers an alarm in the presence of gas through both optical and acoustic signals, as well as interrupting the flow by acting on a special solenoid valve.
