Riduttori di pressione

Pressure reducing valves are widely used in private installations to separate the system from public waterworks, characterised by a pressure too high and variable for direct use in household plants. In fact the pressure reducing valve is capable of reducing and stabilising downstream pressure even with upstream pressure variations. IVAR proposes two types of pressure reducing valves, with different operating principles.

The PRV line is characterised by diaphragm devices, an extremely sensitive and reactive element. Their operation is based on the contrasting action of two forces exerted respectively by a spring and by a diaphragm on a compensated control valve. PRV reducers are also equipped with outlet pressure indicator and filter which can be cleaned without being removed. Available in sizes DN 15, 20, 25, 32 and 40, also in version with pipe unions.

The reducers of the RDP line are devices with a sensitive piston element, characterised by their stability even at high pressures.

Both PRV and RDP reducers have compensated seat, so that the outlet pressure from the reducer is stabilised at a set value regardless of the upstream pressure value.
