2-way modules for direct metering EQUICOMPACT®, EQUIDYNAMIC and MC4

EQUICOMPACT is the ultra-compact, versatile utility module with two-way zone valve, essential for heat management. Aside from the standard components of a utility module, such as ball valves, zone valve, filter and stub pipe for heat meter, EQUICOMPACT also houses the differential pressure regulator capillary for dynamic balancing of circuits. EQUICOMPACT can also be supplied as installation jig and separate functional components;

it is also characterized by some variants regarding the available recessed box:

  • code suffix CB: in the standard wall-mounted version with a galvanised sheet-metal cover painted white;
  • code suffix CL: in the wall-mounted version with sheet-metal structure and cover set up for plastering;
  • code suffix CIB: in the wall-mounted recessed version with insulated polypropylene structure and sheet metal cover painted white.

The EQUIDYNAMIC system is a standard module with ¾ heat metering connections with dynamic balancing. The system is supplied with isolation valves, filter, probe holder pit on supply line and body of a PICV (Pressure independent control valve): once the system has been washed and filled, the installer applies the insert most suitable for the application, choosing between the models PICC 01, PICC 02 and PICC 03. These inserts stabilise the flow rate at the set value, thus avoiding unbalancing in the different branches of the system. IVAR completes its range of two-way utility modules with the family of MC4 modules, compact unit which includes a PICV valve, isolation valves on the primary circuit side and utility side, filter, non-return valve, set up for heat valves and double pit for supply and return probes.
MC4 modules are available in the version with main connections measuring 3/4” or 1”.

The measuring electronics is supplied separately with a large choice depending on the requirements of the individual installations.
